Eligibility

Open to:

  • Kayachikitsa specialists
  • Rasayana specialists
  • Vajikarana specialists

Must hold MD (Kayachikitsa / Rasayan / Vajikarana), PhD, or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.

Fee: ₹5,001

Rights & Privileges

  • Right to vote in General Body meetings
  • Eligible to contest elections and hold office
  • Participate in all scientific, academic, and professional activities organized by IKPA
  • Receive official IKPA Membership Certificate

Eligibility

Open to:

  • Ayurvedic physicians interested in Kayachikitsa
  • BAMS graduates or practitioners interested in Kayachikitsa
Fee: As decided by General Body

Rights & Privileges

  • Participate in scientific discussions and conferences
  • Participate in academic activities of IKPA

Note: Associate Members shall not have voting rights and shall not be eligible to hold any office in the Association.

Eligibility

Open to:

  • Undergraduate (BAMS) students
  • Postgraduate (MD/MS Ayurveda) students

Must be enrolled in a recognized Ayurvedic institution or university.

Fee: Nominal fee by General Body

Rights & Privileges

Student Members may participate in:

  • Conferences and academic discussions
  • Workshops and training programs
  • Research presentations organized by IKPA

Note: Student Members shall not have voting rights and shall not be eligible to hold office.

Eligible Institutions

  • Ayurvedic colleges
  • Ayurvedic hospitals
  • Research institutions
  • Educational organizations related to Ayurveda
Fee: Determined by General Body

Rights & Privileges

  • Collaborate in academic programs and conferences
  • Participate in research projects and training programs
  • Nominate a representative to communicate with IKPA

Note: Institutional Members shall not have voting rights.

Membership Procedure

  1. Submit a duly filled membership application form (online/offline) along with relevant documents.
  2. Pay the prescribed membership fee for the chosen category.
  3. The Honorary Secretary of IKPA shall scrutinize the application.
  4. Application is placed before the Executive Council for approval.
  5. The Executive Council reserves the right to accept or reject any application.
  6. Once approved, the applicant's name is entered into the Register of Members and a Membership Certificate is issued.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain the dignity and reputation of the Association
  • Abide by the rules, regulations, and decisions of the Association
  • Promote the principles and practice of Kayachikitsa and Ayurveda
  • Participate actively in scientific, academic, and professional activities

Cessation of Membership

  • Death of the member
  • Resignation submitted in writing to the Secretary or President
  • Violation of rules or conduct detrimental to the Association
  • Failure to comply with regulations, as determined by the Executive Council
